System's purpose:

The purpose of this system is to transmit two types of data over an RF link. The first type of data is audio and the second type is the body temperature of a baby (which is also transmitted partially by ultrasonic frequency). Basically this system is a combination between a baby monitor and a thermometer.

General Working Method:

A small, coin shaped, thermometer is to be placed on the baby's upper torso and measure its temperature and transmit it via ultrasonic frequency to a receiver. The receiver is to receive the data and at the same time sample the audio of its surroundings. The baby's temperature and the surrounding's audio is transmitted via RF link to a receiver in the parents' room where the audio surrounding in the room is played using a speaker and the baby's temperature is displayed on a screen.
